1. It is necessary to pour a cement base in advance at the installation position, and the specifications and dimensions of the rubber mill are 400mm × 400mm × 600mm (length × width × height), with embedded anchor bolts or expansion screws.

2. Install lightning rods, with the lightning rod base fixed to a pre-set prefabricated cement base. The lightning rod tower base is reliably connected to the cement base with anchor bolts (or expansion screws).

Fix the support steel plate onto the pre embedded anchor bolts, weld a rib plate, then erect the lightning rod, straighten and align it, perform spot welding, and then correct it. Weld the other three rib plates. Finally, weld the down conductor onto the base plate, remove the coating, and apply anti rust paint.

3. Bracket installation

The angle steel bracket should have a dovetail, with a burial depth of not less than 100mm, and the burial depth of flat and round steel brackets should not be less than 80mm.

All brackets must be firm, with full mortar and horizontal and vertical alignment.

The top of various brackets for lightning protection devices should generally be 100mm away from the surface of the building; the top of the grounding main bracket should be 20mm away from the wall

The horizontal spacing between supports shall not exceed 1m (concrete supports shall not exceed 2m); The vertical spacing should not exceed 1.5m. The spacing should be uniform, with a permissible deviation of 30mm. The distance between the brackets on both sides of the corner and the center of the corner should not exceed 250mm.

The bracket should be straight. The allowable deviation for the horizontal inspection section is 3/1000 every 2 meters, and the allowable deviation for the vertical inspection lightning arrester section is 2/1000 every 3 meters; But the overall deviation shall not exceed 10mm.

The grounding wire of the lightning rod must be reliably connected to the grounding rod. The grounding wire should be yellow green with a cross-sectional area of BVR25mm2. The multi stranded copper wire and other iron parts such as brackets should be treated with anti-corrosion.

The mix ratio of cement mortar for all embedded brackets should not be less than 1:2. bracket installation

Support brackets or iron components should be pre embedded as much as possible during structural construction.

According to the design requirements, perform line marking and gear positioning.

Use a hand hammer. The chisel should be used to carve holes, and the size of the holes should be consistent inside and outside.

Firstly, embed the two end brackets on a straight line, and then use lead wire to pull the straight line and embed other brackets. Before embedding, the hole should be moistened with water.

If using concrete supports, arrange them in stages. First, draw a straight line between the two end brackets, and then level and straighten the other supports with mortar; If there are pre embedded iron parts reserved for the parapet wall, the bracket can be directly welded onto the iron parts, and the straightening method for the bracket is the same as before.

Quality issues to be noted in the production and installation of lightning rods:

The welding joint is not full, the welding flux is not clean, and the anti rust paint is missing. Timely repair welding should be carried out, the coating should be knocked off, and anti rust paint should be applied; The needle body is bent and the verticality of installation exceeds the allowable deviation. The needle body should be straightened again and installed only after meeting the requirements; The distance between the independent lightning rod and its grounding device and the entrance/exit protection of roads or buildings does not comply with regulations.
