Grounding module

1、 Product Features

1. The grounding module uses chemically stable non-metallic conductor materials as the conductive medium of the module, and its conductivity is not affected by seasons;

2. Has moisture absorbing and moisturizing properties, low grounding resistance, and can maintain long-term stability; In areas with high soil resistivity, it can effectively reduce the grounding resistance of the grounding network;

3. After multiple high current surges, the resistance value does not increase, and there is no hardening, brittleness, fracture, or other phenomena occurring;

4. Can withstand low temperatures of -70 ℃, also suitable for high-altitude regions in the north;

5. Corrosion resistant, non-toxic, environmentally friendly and pollution-free, with a long service life (over 30 years) and easy installation.


2、 Instructions for using grounding module

1. The grounding module can be buried horizontally or vertically, and the distance between the top of the module and the ground should be greater than 0.6m, with a recommended range of 0.8m to 1.0m.

2. When multiple modules are embedded in parallel, the horizontal distance between modules should be greater than 4m to achieve the best resistance reduction effect. At the same time, the value of module utilization coefficient should be reasonably selected.

3. When burying heavy cylindrical plum blossom shaped low resistance grounding modules, the handle provided with the product can be used to insert the pole core, tighten the nut, or thread iron wire or rope and lift it into the foundation pit.

4. When the poles of the grounding module are connected in parallel or to the ground wire, they must be firmly welded with the same metal material to ensure the reliability of the connection. The welding length is twice the width of the connecting wire. The welding slag should be removed at the welding site and a layer of asphalt or anti-corrosion paint should be applied to prevent core corrosion.

5. Fine grained soft soil should be used as filling material when backfilling, and construction waste, broken bricks, and stones should not be used. Backfilling should be carried out in layers. After filling 30cm of soft soil, an appropriate amount of water should be added and compacted. Bury again, add water, and compact several times until it is level with the surface. When compacting, attention should be paid to ensuring close contact between the module, backfill soil, and formation without damaging the module itself. After backfilling, water again to keep it moist. Measure the grounding resistance after the module has fully absorbed moisture for 24 hours.


3、 Scope of use of grounding module

1. Working grounding, safety grounding, and lightning protection grounding for power plants, substations, switch stations, high-voltage transmission lines, electrified railways, telecommunications, mobile communication base stations, microwave relay stations, ground satellite receiving stations, radar stations, etc;

2. Grounding and protective grounding for valuable precision instruments, computer room equipment, postal and telecommunications programmable control equipment, broadcasting and television equipment, electronic medical equipment, etc;

3. Lightning protection grounding for various high-rise buildings, tall structures, famous ancient buildings, tall memorial towers, etc;

4. Oil transportation pipelines and oil and gas tanks, as well as lightning protection and grounding for warehouses containing flammable and explosive materials.


4、 Precautions

1. The storage of low resistance grounding modules should be regularly maintained to maintain a certain humidity and avoid high temperatures, dryness, and exposure to sunlight.

2. During transportation and installation, mechanical damage to low resistance grounding modules should be avoided. When selecting the burial location, avoid areas that may be affected by chemical corrosion and high temperatures.

3. When backfilling soil, it is recommended to sprinkle water appropriately and compact it layer by layer. It is suggested to measure the grounding resistance after the low resistance grounding module has absorbed moisture for 72 hours.
