Grounding lead out device

The grounding lead out device is specially developed by our company for the special characteristics of subway grounding. It can effectively prevent groundwater leakage when connecting subway platform power equipment grounding, signal equipment grounding, and lightning protection grounding with the comprehensive grounding grid, and can also meet the requirements of stray current protection.

The grounding lead out device consists of several parts, including a protective cylinder, a water stop ring, a grounding lead out wire, and insulation filling material. The protective cylinder is made of stainless steel material, and the grounding lead wire is made of T2 copper bar. The hollow part of the protective cylinder is filled with insulation material, which has the advantages of scientific material selection, reasonable structure, advanced technology, stable and reliable quality, and convenient construction and installation. It can effectively prevent groundwater seepage and meet the requirements of fault current (stray current) protection when connecting the grounding of power equipment, signal equipment, lightning protection grounding and comprehensive grounding network on subway platforms.

In the subway grounding system, due to the protection requirements for fault current (stray current), the grounding grid is located below its structural base plate. Therefore, when grounding electrical equipment on the subway platform, it must be connected to the grounding grid through grounding down conductors to achieve reliable grounding. In the past, grounding down conductors were usually led directly from the structural bottom plate or through PVC pipes. The use of this measure for grounding lead out devices can easily result in failure to meet the requirements for fault current (stray current) protection, and groundwater can easily seep out from the grounding lead out line, failing to meet the design requirements for subway grounding.

Precautions for installing grounding lead out device:

1. The installation direction must follow the direction indicated by the arrow, with the arrow pointing upwards;

2. The grounding lead wire should be properly handled during the construction process and should not be damaged, otherwise it will affect the welding with the grounding grid.
