1. One point lightning protection grounding: Connect the grounding wires of each system to the same point or metal plane of the grounding busbar. This method is called the 'one point lightning protection grounding' method. The one point lightning protection grounding method can solve the equipotential problem of grounding wires in various systems, so it can reduce the degree of interference between systems, especially the interference of 50Hz power frequency signals on the system can be basically eliminated. Therefore, the one point lightning protection grounding method is widely used in lightning protection engineering.

2. Multi point lightning protection grounding: The grounding wire of each system adopts a multi-point short connection grounding method, which is called multi-point lightning protection grounding.

When the frequency of signals or electromagnetic interference is quite high or fast logic transmission is used, capacitive coupling effect will produce some kind of interference coupling. At this time, the lead length becomes the main contradiction, and multi-point lightning protection grounding must be used to minimize the series impedance and the standing wave. The multi-point lightning protection grounding method is applied to high-frequency circuits (f>10MHz).

3. Hybrid lightning protection grounding: The so-called hybrid lightning protection grounding refers to connecting each circuit board in a device to the chassis with the shortest wire, or connecting several devices related to the signal circuit to the same metal body with the shortest wire for grounding, and then connecting multiple devices to the same point of the grounding grid with metal wires. This type of grounding method is called hybrid lightning protection grounding.

The simplest method for mixed lightning protection grounding in lightning protection engineering is to repeatedly ground the neutral wire (or connect the neutral wire to the structural main steel bars of the house) at the main switch of the AC power supply entering the house, and then lead out a PE wire at the neutral wire of the power supply to connect all the points that should be grounded.
